... name children's books by synonym?
I found a great game today. You're given a list of title synonyms and expected to enter the real title. So The Feline in the Fedora would be The Cat in the Hat.
The only drawback is that you must enter the title perfectly- correct spelling, everything. But it was a pleasant diversion and I think you'll like it.
If you want, come back here and let me know how it went- how many correct in how long. I won't share my score- I discovered the game in the middle of a task and had to stop (the game- not the task!) and ran out of time.
Enjoy!

Wasn't that fun? I found it crazy addictive. There are tons of brain bending games on that sight.
Okay, I only got 17. In my defense, it's been quite a while since I read a children's book. Quite a while, indeed.
That was so much fun! Wherever did you find it?
Or, rather, how did you find it? I can see the where.
Thanks for sharing Sarah. You always have the most interesting and fun posts. I'll go over there and check it out today. All the best.
Scott, you're allowed to only get 17- you write for adults. : )
Michelle, I found the website because some of my students were playing on it after they'd finished their work.
Andrea, glad you liked it. I have to give my kids credit for the website, though. You should also look for the book plot Haiku quiz. That was fun as well.
That was AWESOME! I had 17 outright, with another four I SWEAR I typed but must have typod because it didn't accept them. The ones I missed I hadn't heard of.
MissV, wasn't it fun? I think typing it perfectly was the hardest part for me.
There are tons of brain bending games on that sight.
